This year, I’m taking on the Conwy Half Marathon to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK, supporting research into children’s cancers. I will be running for Henry (Lottie's brother). Henry has been battling leukaemia since late last year

Every mile I run is for children and families facing unimaginably tough battles — and for the researchers working tirelessly to find kinder, more effective treatments and ultimately cures.

Why this matters:

Hi , my names Freddie and I will be running 100k in the 24th of June to raise money for cancer research. On the 23rd of march 2022 I lost my beautiful mum to bowel cancer so after 5 years since her passing I will be running 100k on her birthday. It will not only just be for my mum but my nan as well who passed away a few months ago to breast cancer. I hope to raise money so not another 14 year old child has to go through losing a parent at such a young age.

Thank you for supporting the HD:F community to raise money for Cancer research UK.

Most; if not all of us have been impacted by Cancer in some way. Some have battled it personally, others have family members currently fighting this cruel disease and sadly we have lost people close to us who lost their battle.

As a fitness community, all of us are dedicated to being the healthiest, strongest versions of ourselves. We take on challenges to do things that scare us and push us out of our comfort zone to show ourselves and others that we can do hard things

On the 7th November we are all climbing the O2 in London at 10 am! To say heights is something that we are not comfortable with is an understatement, but compared to what others are facing it’s the least we can do to raise money to support further treatments for those facing the brave fight and for the future generations so we can finally say f*** you to cancer.

Any donations would be so appreciated and spur us on to get our butts to the top on a bleak November morning .

On Saturday 7 November, Curtis and James will take on the Feral Pig 100 Miler, a gruelling 162 km trail ultramarathon along the Bibbulmun Track, from North Bannister to Kalamunda in the Perth Hills.

It's one of the toughest trail races in Australia. We'll be running through the night, into the following day and through a second night, spending around 34 hours on our feet to complete the challenge.

We're aiming to raise $1,000 for Cancer Research UK, which works out at roughly $6 for every kilometre we run. Whether it's $5 or $50, every donation makes a difference and helps support vital cancer research. Having both lost family members to cancer, this is a cause that means a lot to us personally.

If you can spare anything, we'd be incredibly grateful. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help support this important cause.

Me and Raashi have somehow decided that the best way to raise money for cancer research is to chuck ourselves out of a plane at 12,000 feet. Completely sane behaviour!

Cancer is such a brutal illness that has affected so many people and families, and we really believe it deserves more attention, research and funding. So in a small attempt to do our bit we’re swapping solid ground for 12,000 feet of questionable life choices.

We’d absolutely love your support; whether that’s a donation, sharing our page, or simply reminding us that we chose to do this willingly when we inevitably start questioning our decisions!

Halloween has always been my favourite time of year. Our family shares a real love of all things horror and spooky — we embrace the atmosphere, the creativity, and every chance to enjoy the eerie, fun side of the season. Most of all, I love seeing the delight on children’s faces when they view the decorations and receive their goody bags. It is a time of fun, excitement, and community spirit.

This is the Warner Family Spooktacular Halloween Display. We held this event last year for the Make‑A‑Wish Foundation, and it was very well received — everyone loved it.

Since moving to our new home, we have become very fond of a special family nearby who have been sadly affected by cancer. We are not able to do much for them in practical ways, so we wanted a meaningful way to show our support and let them know they are in our thoughts. This year, the event is held in support of their cause — every penny raised goes directly to cancer research.

Cancer affects people and families across all communities, and research is the clearest path to better treatments, earlier diagnosis, and improved survival rates. In the UK, trusted organisations such as Cancer Research UK rely entirely on voluntary support to carry out laboratory work, clinical trials, and vital studies. All funds raised advance this life‑saving work.

Despite facing their own difficult journey, this family remains selfless and continues to help and support others whenever they can. By raising money for research in support of their cause, we show our respect and care while contributing to the work that offers hope to them and everyone affected by cancer.

Combining our passion for all things spooky and horror‑themed with this meaningful purpose means the fun goes further. It turns celebrations into hope and kindness.

Decided to participate in the Culbin Forest 8 Hour Challenge (Ultra Marathon). Thought while doing this it would be a good idea to raise money for charity, so all donations will be going to Cancer Research UK.

In April 2027, I’ll be taking on my second marathon in Paris — and this time, like the last, I’m running for something that means so much to me and my family. ❤️

I’m proud to be raising money for Cancer Research UK, a charity that is incredibly close to our hearts. Cancer has touched so many lives, including those close to mine, so being able to run 26.2 miles to help support such an important cause makes all the training, early mornings and questionable life choices worth it!

This November, the wonderful team at Fordwater School is coming together for a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts.

One of our very own amazing colleagues has been diagnosed with breast cancer, and we wanted to do something special to show her just how much love and support she has around her.

So, we're putting our best feet (and wheels!) forward!

920,000 people in the UK have survived breast cancer, and we're taking on the challenge of completing 920,000 intentional steps throughout November — one step to celebrate every one of those incredible people!

And who knows? Maybe we'll smash that target and keep going for all those still fighting their battles!

We'll be walking before school, after school, during lunch breaks and even getting together for weekend walks. Every step, every mile and every little bit of support counts!

We're raising money for Cancer Research UK, helping to fund vital research, improve treatments and give more people the chance of a brighter future.

This is about more than just steps or fundraising. It's about friendship, kindness, community and showing someone we care about that she is not walking this journey alone.
