This is Benson, my son’s pup. He was shot and dumped in a local creek on Smithneck Rd. We are hoping to get some justice for our family pet. Benson was in Sierra Brooks, at the corner of Antelope Valley Rd and Sierra Brooks Drive when there were three shots heard in the neighborhood Sunday morning (March 9, 2025). Benson, an 11-month-old male malamute mix, had an orange track collar on with his owner’s information. He wasn’t seen again, and a weeklong search finally came to a very sad end a week later. His family could use support, as they are seeking out the killer and find justice for Benson: help us find his killer. There is an open sheriff investigation, and we have x-rays and radiology reports that state there is a bullet and bullet fragments in our puppy.
