The Charlottesville Racing Club is looking forward to raising money again for Toy Lift , a local Charlottesville charity. Toy Lift Charities believe that every child is entitled to a happy and enriched childhood. Its mission is to support local families through volunteerism, community cooperation, morale building, and educational tools.
The purposes and objectives of the Charity are to:
- Provide toys and books to area children ages newborn through 8th grade
- Seek charitable contributions of money, toys, books and other needed items
- Seek volunteer assistance from the community
- Not interfere with any governmental or community agencies already assisting area children
Specifically, CRC is fundraising for the annual Bike Build, dedicated to buying and assembling bikes for children in need in the Charlottesville-Albemarle area. We will be fundraising throughout the month of October, culminating in Paranormal, a Halloween-themed nighttime mountain bike race on Saturday the 22nd.
