The 'B.A.M' PROJECT - Bam's AED Mission

Donation protected
My name is Andrew, and together with our friends, I’m raising funds in memory of our dear friend Brian “Bam” Markle, who tragically collapsed from sudden cardiac arrest while playing beach volleyball at Ocean Park in Santa Monica on June 19th, 2025, passing a few days later on June 23rd.

Bam was the sweetest, strongest, most caring superman of a friend anyone could ask for. His death may have been preventable if an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) had been available close enough to use in time.

Our mission is simple and urgent:
We want to make sure AEDs are accessible along our beaches, bike paths, and outdoor sports areas—starting in Santa Monica and growing up and down the California coast.

Your donations will help us:
✅ Purchase and install AED equipment along the beach path
✅ Buy CPR training equipment for community events
✅ Fund free or low-cost CPR/AED training sessions
✅ Support local outreach events and safety awareness

We are working quickly to set up our nonprofit structure and fiscal sponsorship so all donated funds will be used transparently (and be tax deductible) for lifesaving equipment, training, and public safety.

We lost Bam way too soon. Please help us make sure no one else loses their best friend because help was 100 yards too far. Every dollar truly helps save lives.

Thank you for your support.

Also, consider grabbing a super cool BAM life T-shirt, all proceeds donated to the organization in Brian's memory.
