<div>My name is Andrew, and together with our friends, I’m raising funds in memory of our dear friend Brian “Bam” Markle, who tragically collapsed from sudden cardiac arrest while playing beach volleyball at Ocean Park in Santa Monica on June 19th, 2025, passing a few days later on June 23rd.

<div>Bam was the sweetest, strongest, most caring superman of a friend anyone could ask for. His death may have been preventable if an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) had been available close enough to use in time.

<div>We want to make sure AEDs are accessible along our beaches, bike paths, and outdoor sports areas—starting in Santa Monica and growing up and down the California coast.
