Since 2017, a heartfelt endeavor commenced among a small group of Andrew's closest companions: establishing a scholarship to perpetuate his memory. What began as a small tribute has blossomed into a significant initiative, capturing the interest and support of FLHS's esteemed Parents Club. Now, the coaching staff eagerly anticipates the opportunity to pay homage to our cherished friend by bestowing his memory upon one of our finest.

The essence of this award is profound—it seeks to acknowledge a senior whose essence mirrors Andrew's own: a combination of heart, dedication, grit, and unwavering resilience, qualities that directly contribute to our team's triumph. The culmination of our efforts will be realized in a poignant ceremony at FLHS on June 5, 2025, at 6 p.m.

Yet, as we reflect on our achievements in the past few years, we recognize the potential to transcend our current bounds. With the gracious consent of Andrew's family, we aspire to broaden the scope of this scholarship, inviting close friends and family to contribute. In doing so, we extend the opportunity to honor someone who embodies the spirit of our beloved All-American brother.

Our aim is ambitious: to amass a fund of $1000. Anything surpassing this target will be dedicated to the recipient, alongside a distinguished plaque symbolizing their accomplishment and Andrew's enduring legacy. We implore your assistance in achieving this goal by May 30, 2025.

In honoring Andrew's memory, we uphold his modesty and aversion to undue attention. Therefore, we respectfully request that this opportunity be shared exclusively with those who knew and cherished him deeply. Let us unite in commemorating our friend and illuminating the path toward a brighter future for a deserving Cutter—it is what Andrew would have wished for.
