In a quiet corner of Gaza, where laughter used to echo through narrow streets, 9-year-old Yasmeen once played hopscotch with her little brother Kareem. They didn’t have much—chalk drawn on cracked concrete, old sandals, and the sky above—but they had each other.
Then one night, everything changed.
A loud explosion shook their neighborhood. In seconds, the home that held generations of memories turned into rubble. Yasmeen survived—but her brother didn’t. Since that day, she hasn’t spoken a word.
Yasmeen now lives with her aunt in a crowded shelter with dozens of other children who’ve lost their homes or families. Her eyes are wide and quiet, always searching. She sleeps on a thin mat, clutches a torn photo of her family, and draws pictures of stars and broken houses.
She still doesn’t speak. But her drawings tell her story.
Like Yasmeen, thousands of children across Palestine are growing up surrounded by destruction, fear, and grief. They’re denied the right to a peaceful childhood, safe homes, and dreams for the future.
This fundraiser is for them.
To rebuild, to give mental health support, clean clothes, warm meals, and—most importantly—hope.
Your donation helps provide trauma counseling, school supplies, safe spaces, and a little bit of childhood back.
Even a small amount goes far in giving these kids a reason to smile again.
Please help us give Yasmeen and children like her a chance to heal.
