The Stamps family is going through an incredibly difficult time. As a family of six, with a devoted mom and five children, they have always supported each other through thick and thin. Recently, their 10-year-old daughter, Ahlyna, experienced a sudden seizure that led to an urgent need for brain surgery in the Twin Cities. The family has been by her side every step of the way, but the journey is far from over. Ahlyna now faces another surgery and must remain in the Twin Cities for at least the next four weeks to receive the care she needs. This has placed a tremendous emotional and financial strain on the entire family.
During this time, the Stamps family needs help with medical expenses, accommodations in the Twin Cities, childcare for the other children, groceries, and rent back home in Duluth. As their teacher, I have seen firsthand the strength and resilience of this family, and I know how much your support would mean to them. With the family's permission, I am reaching out to our Duluth community and beyond to ask for your help. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in their lives as they navigate this challenging road ahead.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who can contribute. If you are unable to give financially but still wish to help, please send me a message. In-kind contributions such as meals or childcare services are also greatly appreciated. Thank you for standing with the Stamps family and showing them the power of community support.
