It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved community member, Billy Phillips — a true and devoted student of HaRav. Billy will be laid to rest beside the Rav and Karen in the old cemetery of Safed, Israel.

We have created a GoFundMe page to support the Phillips family during this difficult time and to honor all they have given to our community. For over 30 years, the Phillips family has been a pillar of strength, wisdom, and love for us all. Many of us were blessed to hear Billy’s teachings — wisdom personally passed down to him by the Rav. To have known Billy, to have learned from him, or simply to have been in his presence, was truly a blessing.
