I am Kelani Kaolelopono, and I am the mother of seven beautiful children. On Friday, June 6, 2025, our world shattered as we unexpectedly lost our baby girl, Lexus Kawhei Kaolelopono-Silva, at the young age of 15. We moved to Colorado from the beautiful island of Hawaii for a better life and more opportunities. During this time, I have worked at Amazon to support my family. Upon finding out about my daughter’s passing, myself and Lexus’s stepfather submitted for bereavement leave. Amazon has denied my leave to grieve the loss of my daughter and to be at home with my other six children who need me now more than ever. We are grieving the loss of our Lexus and miss her so much. I am at a loss of what to do. We kindly ask for your support and prayers in this time of need as we grieve and help us to remember our girl, Lexus. We thank you and love you all so much.
