Hello, my name is Rene Gordon — born and raised in Primento Walk, St. Ann, Jamaica. My brother and I migrated to the U.S. in 1994, and since 1997, I’ve proudly called Orlando, Florida my home. Over the years, I’ve devoted much of my time to serving my local community — volunteering with nonprofits, and cooking and feeding the homeless every month, often from my own pocket.

Now, my heart is broking Hurricane Melissa has devastated parts of my beloved island of Jamaica, many families have lost everything — homes, crops, businesses, and even loved ones. Communities that once thrived are now struggling to survive.

I’m reaching out to ask for your help in supporting Gentle Heart Outreach, a nonprofit organization in St. Ann, Jamaica, founded and operated by my mother. For over 10 years, this organization has been a pillar of the community — providing food, shelter, school supplies, healthcare, and hope to countless families in need.

Every donation will go directly to Gentle Heart Outreach to fund vital relief efforts, including:

✅ Temporary housing and shelter repairs

✅ Medical care and essential supplies

✅ Support for children and families rebuilding their lives
