The Loyola University New Orleans Wind Ensemble is honored to have been connected with the National Symphonic Band of Ukraine (NSBOU) through the international language of music. After the NSBOU delivered the world premiere performance of Kevin Poelking’s “Sounds, Voices, and Dreams From Ukraine” on November 4, 2025, the Loyno Wind Ensemble is honored to deliver the United States premiere performance just 5 days later at the 1st Annual Big Easy Band Fest.

It is clear that music is important to the people of Ukraine during this difficult time of war.
