Support Marissa's Mission for Cleaner Air

Hello, my name is Miguel Aguilar( Mr. Aguilar to my students) and I am an 8th grade English Teacher at Los Angeles Academy Middle School. This semester, my students have focused on trying to change the world by focusing on an important issue they believe deserves an immediate solution. I am sponsoring my student Marissa by helping them create this GoFundMe. I will let Marissa describe their goals:

Hello my name is Marissa I am a student in middle school. I am here to ask for your help. I am trying to make our air better for people because air pollution can increases the risk of respiratory infections, heart disease, stroke, and lung cancer. Also if your child has asthma it can irritate the airways, making them swell and tighten up, and cause breathing problems. My goal is to raise $10,000 so the community can have enough resources to make our air better for all children. I am planning to accomplish this goal by asking you to donate the money so that I will be able to give the money to Coalition for Clean Air, an organization that helps improve the air for your children. By donating, you are helping peoples’ health especially kids with asthma and kids that have cancer.
