Hello, my name is Madelyn Giroux and my grandson Johnny was taken from his parents in January 2024 and placed in DCF custody. From the moment that I heard this heart-wrenching news, I have made it my number one priority to gain guardianship. I have been fighting this battle for 15 months. I had applied both through DCF and the Springfield Juvenile Court. I followed all of the DCF directives and was in the process of being certified when the court trial for guardianship came up on 4/15. Needless to say, guardianship was granted to a very distant relative on his paternal side, someone who really doesn't know my grandson.

I'm in the process of appealing and any and all donations are greatly appreciated as filing and attorney fees are overwhelming. Please help me to bring my Johnny home.
