In memory of my beloved mother, Peggy Gurman, whose 81st birthday is approaching on 10/29, we are raising funds to support the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank, an organization dedicated to combating hunger in our community. If you were lucky enough to be have a home cooked meal by my mom, you certainly enjoyed an exquisitely cooked meal that was also nutritious, with plenty available for seconds. She had a deep compassion for those in need. With SNAP benefits due to be terminated due to the current government shutdown, we are hoping to raise funds to ensure local families don't go hungry. By contributing to this memorial fundraiser, you can help me honor my mother's legacy and make a meaningful impact together.

I am a long time resident of San Diego and have personally volunteered with San Diego Food Bank. All donations will go directly to support food insecure families and individuals across San Diego County.
