Did you know?... One in four children now face hunger in San Diego.*

The SD Food Bank supplies food to over 500 other local non-profit distribution partners — that's many of our local soup kitchens and shelters.  

They are able to provide 5 meals for every ONE dollar!   $1 = 5 meals

Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank is a well-established, completely local and grassroots, volunteer-supported non-profit.  

The infrastructure is in place, programs to ensure food reaches those who need it and nothing goes to waste, and a tribe of passionate volunteers to help fulfill the communities needs.

        "It takes a community to feed a community."

La Jolla Cosmetic Surgery Centre is raising money to benefit The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank with this Feed the Fam fundraiser, and any donation amount will help make an impact. Please join us in making a difference by feeding vulnerable families and neighbors affected by the COVID-19 crisis.

We're kicking off our Feed the Fam fundraiser by contributing $5000. And, we're matching your donation* by giving you an equal amount to spend at La Jolla Cosmetic Surgery Centre and Medical Spa. 

Example: You donate $50 to Feed the Fam, we'll mail you a $50 LJCSC gift card to use whenever you choose! It's that easy.

* Donations will be matched with an LJCSC gift card up to $500, and the campaign matching program is up to a maximum of $5,000. After this goal is reached, LJCSC will match donations up to $250 through the campaign end date of May 31, 2020.

Hi, my name is Ella.

I am one of ten lucky girls who are participating in the YMCA Bear Nation Summer Leadership Program. Bear Nation is a part of the YMCA Indian Princesses father daughter camping program which I have been doing with my dad ever since I was 5 years old. This program has given me so much, and now I feel bonded with my dad more than ever. I want to give back for all this wonderful program has given me. Every girl in the YMCA Summer Leadership Program is creating a project that will make a positive impact on our community, and also show their leadership abilities. I have chosen to help the homeless because I have always been very passionate about helping them. I have found this amazing charity called the San Diego Food Bank and when I heard about them, I knew that this is was a charity that I wanted to support.

Did you know that if you donate $1 to the food bank, they can provide 5 meals out of that $1. These meals aren't just chips and junk either, 33% of the food distributed at the food bank is fresh produce! This why I believe that the food bank is such an amazing organization to support! My goal for donations is $2,000 or 10,000 meals for hungry and homeless families in need. I am very excited to try and reach this goal, but I can’t do it without you. I need your help! Please help me support all who need it. Anything helps!
