Support Hilton Americas Workers' Fight for a Fair Contract!
Donation protected
On August 13th, workers of the Hilton Americas voted 99.3% to authorize a strike. Workers are fighting for a living wage of at least $23 an hour, health and safety improvements, dignity, and respect. 2024 was a record breaking year for the city of Houston. According to Houston First, the city’s destination marketing organization, Houston broke records for the number of visitors and hotel revenue. Hotel revenue increased 15.5% to 3 billion dollars in 2024, yet hotel workers have not seen the benefits of that boom and struggle to pay their bills.
Hilton Americas workers are ready to do what it takes to win a fair contract, including going on strike. Strikes can be a big sacrifice on workers struggling to make ends meet. Please contribute to the Local 23 Hardship Fund to support striking Hilton workers.
Contributions to this Hardship Fund are not deductible for federal income tax purposes as charitable contributions.
