My name is Erin, and I’m raising funds on behalf of my husband’s family after a devastating house fire that has completely changed their lives.

Following the fire, their home was condemned and deemed uninhabitable. Tragically, my mother-in-law passed away as a result of the fire. In a matter of hours, our family lost both a loved one and their home, leaving my father-in-law and his three daughters displaced with very little left.

They are currently staying in a hotel while navigating grief, funeral arrangements, insurance delays, and the overwhelming logistics that come with sudden displacement. While insurance is involved, it will take time, and immediate needs cannot wait.

We are hoping to raise funds to help cover:

Temporary housing and hotel expenses

Food and everyday necessities during displacement

Clothing and personal items lost in the fire

Transportation and other immediate expenses

Funeral-related and transitional costs as the family stabilizes
