Art, Strength, and Survival: Ms. Emery Needs Us!
Michelle Emery (Ferrelli), known to her students as “Miss M,” has been bravely battling Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer for over 16 months—all while continuing to work full-time as an art teacher for a charter school in Clearwater, Florida. Michelle inspires over 500 K–8 students, creating a classroom where every child feels seen, valued, and confident in their ability to create and appreciate art.
Michelle has also spent many joy filled hours at the James Museum guiding young artists during the summer months.
As a single mother of two sons, Michelle has faced this fight with extraordinary strength. But after more than a year of ongoing treatments, procedures, and specialized medications and therapies, her financial resources have been deeply strained.
This fundraiser was created to help ease that burden—so Ms. Emery can continue doing what she loves: nurturing young artists and showing up with the same heart and grace that define her.
Every donation, prayer, and share makes a difference.
Let’s lift up Michelle, just as she’s lifted so many others.
