Hi, I’m Sebastian Ferreira, a Colombian living in the United States.

On August 10, 2026, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia, leaving at least 169 dead and 570 injured, with severe damage to homes, hospitals, schools, and roads across Pereira, Cali, and Manizales. Rescue teams are still searching for survivors, and thousands of families have lost their homes.

100% of the funds raised will go directly to Direct Relief, to support their work delivering medical aid, medicines, and supplies to hospitals and clinics overwhelmed by the crisis. I have no formal relationship with Direct Relief, I’m organizing this campaign on my own as someone who wants to help my country after the earthquake.
