Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my mom Debbie Lemoine, who selflessly dropped everything to care for her mother—my grandma—during her final days.

When my grandma suffered a sudden stroke, my mom rushed to be by her side. She left her stable travel job without hesitation so she could be fully present, holding my grandma’s hand and making sure she was never alone. Their bond was so deep, and my mom gave everything she had—time, energy, and income—to make sure my grandma’s final chapter was filled with love and dignity.

Sadly, my grandma passed away recently. She didn’t have any life savings or life insurance, and while we are grateful for the time we had with her, the financial burden has been heavy. My mom has now been without work for several weeks, and while her next travel assignment is lined up, the first paycheck won’t come until mid-August. In the meantime, she's facing bills, rent, and daily expenses with no income—something I know my grandma would never have wanted for her.

My mom has always been the one helping others. Now, she’s the one in need. We're asking for help from anyone who has known and loved my mom or grandma—or anyone who simply believes in supporting caregivers who sacrifice so much out of love.
