Hello, my name is Suzie, and I'm raising funds for family friends as they attempt to resettle after being wrongfully abducted by ICE.

In mid-January of 2026, my friend "Danna" was racially profiled and abducted by ICE despite having legal status. Within hours, she and her older child, who is only 6 years old, were whisked away to Texas, with her 2 year old left behind in a guardian's care. It took a month to the day to free Danna and her older child and reunite them with the younger. The toll this took on them all is palpable, and while Mom and children are back together and home now, Dad was deported, and Danna must now settle into life as the sole provider for her family, find a new job and childcare, all while catching up on bills and dealing with the trauma that was inflicted upon her and her family.

All proceeds will go to helping her and her children continue their pursuit of a better life and recover from the trauma they have been through. Please let's show Danna and her family what community means and uplift them during this difficult time.
