Help Support Koli and Carver Through His Type 1 Diabetes Diagnosis

Hi, my name is Kati, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my nephew Carver and my sister, Koli.

On June 2, 2025, our world changed when Carver was unexpectedly diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Thankfully, Koli acted quickly when she noticed something wasn’t right, and Carver is now receiving excellent care at Cook Children’s Hospital.

As many of you know, Koli is a devoted single mother who works hard to provide for her little boy on her own. With this sudden diagnosis, she’ll need to take time off work to be by Carver’s side and help him adjust to this new reality. This will be a long journey—one that includes countless doctor visits, ongoing treatments, and learning how to manage a complex condition.

We’re asking for support to help ease the financial burden this brings. Funds will go toward transportation to and from the hospital, essential diabetic supplies, and help with everyday living expenses and medical bills while Koli is unable to work.
