Burdette BJJ has the pleasure of taking its second mission trip in February 2026! Last year we took a group of 7 to Reynosa, MX, where we held 3 days of BJJ classes at Cologio Regents school. We were able to hold

classes for both the middle and high schoolers, and not only did we spark an interest in BJJ, but we saw lives touched and transformed by the love of Jesus.

When we opened Burdette BJJ in

September of 2023, our goal was to use BJJ to open doors to share the gospel, and see

people touched by the love of Jesus. Thus we started the His Stripes, My Stripes ministry. We know our call is to reach the BJJ

community in and around Tulsa, but God has given us an awesome opportunity to do the same in Reynosa, MX.

Colegio Regents started as a home school program within the walls of Big Heart orphanage location. As Big Heart orphanage has grown, and so has Regents, and it now has three locations and over 500 students. Regents has locations in Reynosa, Ramos Arizpe, and Matamoros, with the Reynosa location being open to the public. The newer campuses in Ramos Arizpe and Matamoros are within the orphanage and only teaching

the orphanage kids; however, the hope and prayer is to one day build a school in both locations that will be open to the public. The Reynosa school campus is located two blocks from Big Heart orphanage and is home to over

500 students offering education from preschool- high school. It functions as a Christ-centered school that serves the community. The curriculum has Spanish and English courses, sports program, arts, literature, technology, science, and math.

Help us achieve our goal!
