<div>A New Chapter in Kaylin’s Story ❤️

On January 16, 2026, our beautiful Kaylin gained her angel wings after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was just 28 years old and left behind her two greatest blessings, Jace’Lynn and Memphis.

When Kaylin started this GoFundMe, she was facing something no mother should ever have to face  planning her own funeral while worrying about the future of her children.

Because of the incredible kindness and generosity of people from all over the world, Kaylin was able to find comfort in knowing her babies would be taken care of.

Today, I am raising Jace’Lynn and Memphis, and we are learning to navigate life without their mama. There are good days, hard days, and so many milestones we wish Kaylin could be here to see.

We have decided to keep Kaylin’s GoFundMe open for anyone who would like to continue supporting her children as they grow. Any additional donations will go toward helping provide for Jace’Lynn and Memphis and their future.

We will also continue sharing updates about the children, their accomplishments, and the beautiful memories they are making, because Kaylin’s story didn’t end when she left us. Her love lives on through her babies.

To everyone who has donated, prayed, shared, or simply followed Kaylin’s journey, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You have given our family more than financial support. You have shown these two children how much their mama was loved.

Kaylin’s original story is shared below, in her own words. ❤️<br />

</div>

<div>Dear family, friends, and new friends, let me introduce myself.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My name is Kaylin Gawf. I am a 28-year-old single mother of two beautiful children, my daughter Jace, 9, and my son Memphis, 6. I am currently on hospice care after a long battle with metastatic breast cancer that has spread to my brain.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This is the hardest thing I have ever faced. My biggest fear isn’t dying; it’s leaving my children behind with added pain, stress, and financial burden to my family when I’m gone.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>I’m asking for help to cover my funeral and end of life expenses</strong>, so my children and family don’t have to carry that weight while grieving. Any additional funds will go in a Trust to go toward helping provide stability and support for my kids during this incredibly difficult transition.

</div>

<div>

</div>

<div>I know I should have taken out life insurance. I truly believed I was going to beat cancer here on this earth. I never imagined I would hear the words, “There’s nothing more we can do for you.” Just a few weeks before Christmas, I was told hospice would be calling my mom and me to set everything up. My world changed forever in that moment. I’m so heartbroken for my children and family.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I’ve been fighting for three years. I was originally diagnosed with HER2+ breast cancer, which had metastasized to my lungs, bones, and lymph nodes. Then a year later, in March of 2023, we found out it had spread to my brain. I was then diagnosed with two different kinds of brain cancers, metastatic breast cancer and leptomeningeal disease (LMD), which is very rare. Along this journey, I’ve also been diagnosed with Cushing’s disease, causing over 70 pounds of weight gain, congestive heart failure (CHF), two brain surgeries, and other serious complications.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If you are unable to donate, please know that sharing this or keeping my children in your thoughts and prayers means more than I could ever express. <strong>I am so not ready to leave them just yet, but I want to do everything I can to protect them and ease their future, even when I’m no longer here.</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any kindness you are able to share.
</div>

<div>Your friend, Kaylin Gawf

Honoring Kaylin's Legacy & Supporting Her Children

<div>Burdette BJJ has the pleasure of taking its second mission trip in February 2026! Last year we took a group of 7 to Reynosa, MX, where we held 3 days of BJJ classes at Cologio Regents school. We were able to hold
</div>
<div>classes for both the middle and high schoolers, and not only did we spark an interest in BJJ, but we saw lives touched and transformed by the love of Jesus.
</div>
<div>When we opened Burdette BJJ in
</div>
<div>September of 2023, our goal was to use BJJ to open doors to share the gospel, and see
</div>
<div>people touched by the love of Jesus. Thus we started the His Stripes, My Stripes ministry. We know our call is to reach the BJJ
</div>
<div>community in and around Tulsa, but God has given us an awesome opportunity to do the same in Reynosa, MX.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Colegio Regents started as a home school program within the walls of Big Heart orphanage location. As Big Heart orphanage has grown, and so has Regents, and it now has three locations and over 500 students. Regents has locations in Reynosa, Ramos Arizpe, and Matamoros, with the Reynosa location being open to the public. The newer campuses in Ramos Arizpe and Matamoros are within the orphanage and only teaching
</div>
<div>the orphanage kids; however, the hope and prayer is to one day build a school in both locations that will be open to the public. The Reynosa school campus is located two blocks from Big Heart orphanage and is home to over
</div>
<div>500 students offering education from preschool- high school. It functions as a Christ-centered school that serves the community. The curriculum has Spanish and English courses, sports program, arts, literature, technology, science, and math.

Support Burdette Ministries' Mission in Reynosa

<div>We’re starting this GoFundMe for two of the most selfless people—Drew and Brittany Durham—who have dedicated so much of their time and hearts to helping others in their community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For the past two years, Drew has been doing home hemodialysis five days a week, three hours each day. His wife, Brittany, has faithfully rearranged her life and work schedule to serve as his caregiver during every treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recently, the Durhams began working with Baylor in Dallas, Texas, to participate in a shared kidney donation program. This incredible couple just received life-changing news: Drew has been scheduled for a kidney transplant on December 5th, and Brittany will donate her kidney to another patient on December 9th—a true act of selflessness and love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Following their surgeries, Drew and Brittany will be required to stay in the Dallas area for six weeks for recovery and follow-up appointments. Unfortunately, insurance will not cover their lodging expenses, and since Brittany is self-employed, she will be without income during this time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now it’s our turn to rally around the Durhams the way they’ve always rallied around our community. Every donation will go directly toward their lodging, meals, and essential expenses while they recover from this life-changing journey.

<div>My family members are living every parent's worst nightmare. Christie Kimmons Barber and Richard Bolding have lost their precious son, Tyler Bolding who just turned 18. Tyler was full of life and adventure and everyone who knew him, loved him. We can't imagine what his parents are going through right now and we were hoping to at the very least, try to take off some of the financial load from the funeral and burial expenses off of their plates. If you are unable to donate, please keep Christie, Richard, Maverick and the rest of Tyler's family in your prayers. They have a long road ahead of them without their sweet son and brother.
</div>

</div>
<div>They also have a cashapp: $AliciaOrtman
</div>

</div>
<div>Tyler's funeral is under the direction of Schaudt's Glenpool-Bixby Funeral Services

<p>At 5:15am on the morning of Nov 22, my children’s father’s home caught fire. Thank God above, everyone is safe!! But the home is a total loss and so is everything inside.
</p>

<p> They lost everything except the pajamas on their backs when they ran out the door.
</p>

<p>Nick does a lot to support our veterans, Coach youth sports, and is heavily involved in his church. Let’s rally around my boys’ other family and help them through this tough time!
