Help Me Continue Giving Back to My Community — Despite My Health Battles

Hi, my name is Bernard, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your support during a difficult time.

I’ve lived with diabetes since childhood, and for the past three years, I’ve been on dialysis as my health has worsened. Because of my condition, I’ve been unable to work — but I haven’t let that stop me from continuing to bless my community in every way I can.

Giving back has always been a part of who I am. This year, I was offered the amazing opportunity to read my children’s book at my former elementary school — so I can continue inspiring young minds and encouraging literacy in a place that shaped who I am today.

Even while facing my own battles, I remain committed to uplifting others — especially our youth. In honor of my grandmother, who recently passed away and was a pillar of love and wisdom in my life, I want to start a book scholarship to help a deserving college student with the cost of their materials.
