<div>Hi, my name is Bernard, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your support during a difficult time.

</div>

<div>I’ve lived with diabetes since childhood, and for the past three years, I’ve been on dialysis as my health has worsened. Because of my condition, I’ve been unable to work — but I haven’t let that stop me from continuing to bless my community in every way I can.

</div>

<div>Giving back has always been a part of who I am. This year, I was offered the amazing opportunity to read my children’s book at my former elementary school — so I can continue inspiring young minds and encouraging literacy in a place that shaped who I am today.

</div>

<div>Even while facing my own battles, I remain committed to uplifting others — especially our youth. In honor of my grandmother, who recently passed away and was a pillar of love and wisdom in my life, I want to start a book scholarship to help a deserving college student with the cost of their materials.

</div>
