As school is getting ready to start most people are getting ready. Yet some people are going through very difficult situations.

A local teacher and students need our support. This family is facing homelessness, and many other difficult challenges. As single parent it is very difficult. This teacher and parent needs their community to show up for them, just like they have shown up for their community.

We are raising funds for a security deposit. This will help the family stabilize and get ready for the new school year. So tragic to say no county programs offer tangible down payment assistance. This is where community is critical and can save people's lives when they feel like giving up.
