Philippians 1:3: "I thank my God every time I remember you.”

First and foremost, Steve and Celane want to thank every single person that has stood by them in prayer and with donations during this very challenging time. It has truly been a testimony that they have been supported spiritually and financially as Steve endures the many treatments that we hope will heal his body this side of Heaven.

We are asking that you continue to pray for them during this season. At this time it has impacted both of their ability to work. They are doing everything they can to stay afloat financially, but the loss of income has created a tremendous burden. This fundraiser is not for experimental treatments or special trips. It is to help cover everyday living expenses such as utilities, groceries, transportation, insurance, and the countless costs that come with fighting cancer.

They have been blessed beyond belief with generous donations that have allowed them to have family memories of eating out and taking a vacation as a family, but for this next season, they could really use prayers for provision to make ends meet and heal Steve as he is struggling with mobility.

The next few months will be the hardest they have endured financially and physically. They are so grateful that they have had provision to allow Steve to be cared for exclusively by Celane. There are some bright spots in his fight, and hope for healing. Steve has been battling head and neck cancer that has spread to his lungs and brain. He has endured 3 surgeries, 37 rounds of radiation, 12 weeks of chemotherapy and facing more in the months ahead, and countless medical treatments. Through it all, he continues to fight with courage, faith, and determination, trusting God even on the hardest days.

“There has never been a day when God was not faithful.”

And we are holding tightly to that promise.

Steve is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who has always put his family and his faith first. Anyone who knows him knows his kind heart, quiet strength, and deep love for the Lord. Today, he continues the fight of his life.

Because of his illness and ongoing treatments, Steve has been unable to work for the past six months. During this time, Celane has been by his side as his primary caregiver, attending appointments, managing medications, and supporting him daily. As a result, she has had to use nearly all of her sick leave and is now down to just a few remaining days.

At the same time, medical bills, prescriptions, travel for appointments, and daily living expenses continue to grow. The financial burden has become overwhelming, especially as their ability to work and earn has been limited by Steve’s health.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward:

• Medical and treatment-related expenses

• Prescriptions and supportive care

• Travel to appointments and potential clinical trials

• Household and living expenses while income is limited

Every gift, no matter the amount, helps ease this burden and allows Steve to focus on healing, resting, and continuing to fight with faith and hope.
