Hello All!

While we continue to love sharing our music and energy on the open road and embracing our wild and precious lives, we’re finding that we’re short what we need to get thru the end of the year and into winter.

Lots of people are seeing challenges to finances lately, and we are no exception. We continue to offer much of what we do in a donation based/contribute what you can way. The four of us are really wiped out from our most recent travels…and we came home to mouse poop everywhere. We have been making less than usual per show, despite the encouragement and appreciation increasing for what we are offering. Obviously we need to change things with the changing times, but we sincerely hope we can continue to offer what we feel called to do as our way of affording living.

We’ve got a big bill to pay this month, and it’s going to wipe out the little savings we have left (which was already not enough) as we go into the leanest time of year for us.

Things we are doing to try to get out of the hole we’re in:

Making a wintertime EP and completely producing it from home to keep costs waaaay down.

Making reels to try to get the word out in a more broad way

Offering Zoom concerts

Playing a few shows

Committing more focus to Patreon

Looking for places to for Brian to play instrumentally

Writing songs for people

Offering Brian’s homemade bread locally

Offering instrument lessons

Offering a Madeline’s handwork

Selling stuff in FB marketplace

(The album you have been waiting for has been stuck in a holding pattern bc we can’t afford to mix, master, and produce right now)

It’s hard to ask. We hate asking, actually. But we love what we do too much to give up on it just yet.

Okay. We’re gonna go for a walk. Remember it’s a continual cycle of birth/life/death/rebirth. Hug some trees. Feel our feet touch the earth and listen to our kids giggle. And send some hope out your way as we acknowledge this dark (and light!) time for us.
