What We Are Doing

At Peak Walking Adventures we're running a Charity Challenge Walk for Derby Mountain Rescue on 11 October 2025. We're visiting six of the Peak District’s most beautiful dales in a circular limestone peak adventure from the market town of Bakewell. This tough challenge takes in some of the Peak District’s most beautiful Dales on a walk that alternates between rolling limestone hills and paths that contour high along the edges of deep limestone valleys with rivers far below.

Why?

We work and walk in the Derbyshire Dales and Peak District. Derby Mountain Rescue is a selfless team, on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and run by unpaid volunteers. Their invaluable support keeps us all safe in the hills. They need and deserve our support.

Our walkers have already raised over £800 through walk bookings and would love to exceed £1500 through sponsorship. Can you help them by making a donation here?
