My name is Omar, and my heart is breaking. Amidst the chaos and devastation engulfing Gaza, my family—my parents, my siblings Abdullah and Lolo, and their young children—are trapped in a nightmare beyond comprehension. They face the spectre of starvation, the relentless onslaught from bombardment, the scarcity of medicine, and the looming threat of displacement.

With every passing moment, their safety hangs by a thread, and the desperate urgency consumes me to bring them to safety.

I haven't been able to hug my brother in 8 years and never held his precious triplets, Sama, Seba, and Omar (named after me). They deserve a chance at a peaceful future, away from the constant fear.

The daily reality for them is a relentless struggle for survival amidst the ruins of war. After my brother's apartment was destroyed they fled to my parent's place in Rafah, where the army is preparing an assault that would leave it similar to the rest of Gaza's ruined cities.

As you're reading this, they endure sleepless nights punctuated by the deafening roar of airstrikes, their days overshadowed by the constant fear of what tomorrow may bring. Yet, amidst the turmoil, their aspirations for a better future remain steadfast—a future free from the shackles of fear and uncertainty, where their children can laugh and play without the violence haunting their every moment.

With your help, we can raise the money needed to cover fees needed for their evacuation to Egypt, a temporary place to stay in Egypt, and some of the initial living expenses until they can settle or the genocide is stopped. Every contribution, big or small, brings them closer to safety and a brighter future.

This fund would cover the costs for 14 of them, 11 nephews and nieces, as well as their parents and my Mom.
