Let me start by prefacing that we dont ask for anyrhing from anyone. Just imagine losing the place where every cherished memory was made, the house where you grew up, the home your parents poured their love into. For my sister, her daughter, my toddler son, and me, that devastating reality is staring us in the face. We're desperately trying to save our childhood home from being lost due to past due property taxes, a burden that became overwhelming after the passing of both our beloved parents.

Our parents worked tirelessly to provide us with a safe and loving home. This house isn't just bricks and mortar; it's filled with their legacy, our laughter, and the countless moments that shaped who we are. It's also the home that countless friends remember as a safe and reliable space, a place where everyone felt welcome and cared for. Our parents were known throughout the community for their incredible generosity, always ready to lend a hand, a listening ear, or a warm meal.

Now, without their steady presence and income, we've fallen behind, and the threat of foreclosure looms large. My sister, her daughter, my toddler son, and I would be uprooted from the only home some of us have ever known. The thought of them losing their stability and comfort breaks our hearts.
