RYNO's Vision: Rewire Yourself w New Opportunities

As a Chicano in long-term recovery, I have a vision to create a transitional housing community in Questa, NM for my people...a center for hope and healing. Not just houses but more like a plaza or a village--a place that offers not only a safe and supportive home but also job training, employment opportunities, twelve-step groups, mentoring, counseling and pathway navigation, spiritual direction, food growing and agricultural training, service opportunities, community building, seasonal festivals...a space for families, traditional cultural teachings and ceremony. TiLT wants to help me create this space where “La Cultura Cura”. Your donation will be the seed money to help make this a reality.

Our first step would be to renovate the old video store so we would have a place to meet...for 12-step meetings, classes in woodworking, acequia care, basic gardening, planting, organizing.  With a new roof, we would be able to start peer support case management services for people new in recovery...all in the community where they live.
