In the past year, a small group of football lovers in Sheffield came together with one simple goal: create an affordable, inclusive, community-led football team where everyone can play. No high costs. No pressure. No bad behaviour. Just football in its purest, friendliest form.

We meet each week at Ruskin Park, where there’s a basic pitch area and a pair of goalposts but not much else.

Why We’re Raising Funds

Our team has already put in huge amounts of time, effort, and personal money to improve the pitch. But the ground still needs significant work to make it safe, playable, and welcoming for everyone in the community.

Affiliation fees may seem small, but for a team that never charges players, they’re a real barrier. We keep football free because we believe everyone should have access to the sport - not just those who can afford pitch fees.

We’re a group of players who have spent years in organised leagues but often found the experience out of reach - pitch availability was poor, team fees were high, and the culture around some games didn’t feel welcoming or enjoyable.
