Ronna’s Marathon for Meals for Frontline Workers
Deducible
Want to join me in making a difference? My upcoming Boston marathon was postponed, and I wanted to put my training to work to help the medical workers that are on the frontlines. My brother Rory is a charge nurse on a shock trauma floor in UT, my sister Ellen is a Nurse Practitioner admitting Covid patients in the ER in AZ, my running partner Cristy is a registered nurse in CA, and many more. I also wanted to support the small restaurant businesses. I'm running a solo marathon on April 20th to raise money to benefit Frontline Foods and World Central Kitchen, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
Frontline Foods is a grassroots organization that raises money from the community to pay local restaurants to prepare meals for the heroes responding to the COVID-19 crisis. Frontline Foods has delivered more than 70,000 meals to frontline workers in over 150 hospitals nationwide—so far.
Frontline Foods recently partnered with World Central Kitchen to scale the reach of their program. World Central Kitchen is a 501c3 so all donations are 100% tax deductible.
World Central Kitchen is a non-profit organization addressing food insecurity during and after natural disasters and humanitarian crises, while also operating long-term programs aimed at improving livelihoods by strengthening local food ecosystems. Founded in 2010 by Chef Jose Andres following the devastating earthquake in Haiti, World Central Kitchen has since served more than 8 million meals to those affected by disasters.
