My mother passed away from breast cancer on November 17th, 2015. That loss has stayed with me and shaped the way I see this disease and the importance of research aimed at preventing and curing it.

I’m starting this fundraiser in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, an organization dedicated to funding world-class breast cancer research. Their work focuses on improving treatments, advancing prevention, and moving closer to a cure.

At the same time, I’m preparing for a personal challenge: a bike trip along the U.S. East Coast from Madawaska, Maine to Key West, Florida. I’m using this journey as a way to push myself physically and mentally, while also working toward something bigger than myself. This fundraiser is part of that effort.

My goal is to turn this ride into more than just a personal accomplishment. Every donation goes toward supporting research that can help save lives and spare families from the loss mine experienced.
