<div>My mother passed away from breast cancer on November 17th, 2015. That loss has stayed with me and shaped the way I see this disease and the importance of research aimed at preventing and curing it.

<div>I’m starting this fundraiser in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, an organization dedicated to funding world-class breast cancer research. Their work focuses on improving treatments, advancing prevention, and moving closer to a cure.

<div>At the same time, I’m preparing for a personal challenge: a bike trip along the U.S. East Coast from Madawaska, Maine to Key West, Florida. I’m using this journey as a way to push myself physically and mentally, while also working toward something bigger than myself. This fundraiser is part of that effort.

<div>My goal is to turn this ride into more than just a personal accomplishment. Every donation goes toward supporting research that can help save lives and spare families from the loss mine experienced.
