Dear family and friends, we are coming to you on behalf of the Brady Family - Joel, Laura, and their sweet Faith. Joel and Laura found themselves beginning the 2025 year with trials beyond measure, and the challenges have multiplied. Joel and his daughter Faith were experiencing serious health issues, including respiratory and internal blood loss issues. They found that their home was full of mold and needed to be completely gutted on the inside and treated to kill the mold. This process meant packing up what could be salvaged and disposing of anything that could be holding mold spores. After treating the house for mold, installing new windows, and installing new insulation and drywall, they still need to install a kitchen, bathroom, and replace basic furniture. As Joel and Laura worked to rebuild their home with their own hands, Joel himself endured multiple hospital stays due to severe blood loss, by which he is currently in recovery.

Their daughter Faith was still showing uncharacteristic signs of weakness. This July turned into their biggest nightmare after a trip to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh to rule out an ear infection and swollen lymph nodes. Faith was diagnosed with Leukemia ALL. This hit like a ton of bricks, as Joel and his family are still digging out from the heavy load of their house being under construction and Joel still being in recovery health-wise. Faith has already begun the chemotherapy treatments, which include IV infusions, hospital stays, oral medications, potential hair loss, and weakness no 7-year-old should have to withstand.
