Needing a safe and updated 15 passenger van for our ladies

We are reaching out at Beauty for Ashes Ministries Inc., Lenoir City, Tennessee, a beautiful 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to start a fundraiser to try to secure a newish 15-passenger van. We have had multiple breakdowns on the two that we have now that are from the 1990s. We have replaced multiple items and continue to do so, and just had a recent tow on one of them.

As we continue growing, and many of our women are joining the workforce, and proceeding with their sobriety, restoration, and healing, we are needing more dependable vehicles. We are at a point where we can only drive these older ones fairly locally, and we need to update. We are also working with Enterprise rental cars with the family and friends discount. We are trying to secure one that is five years old or newer with low mileage and a great extended warranty.

We need the help of our community and friends to make this happen. We are shooting for $7,500 just to get started, but most likely it’s gonna cost us around $25,000. We will be able to keep full coverage insurance as well. These vans run approximately $85,000 brand new, and we will be very blessed if we can get one in this price range with a great warranty. When we raise this amount, if we need to, Beauty for Ashes is in good standing with the banks and we could easily obtain a loan for the difference for a while until we can cover the whole thing.

Regardless, the safety of these ladies is our main concern, and as we continue going to multiple Celebrate Recoveries and mission trips, etc., we do not want to have to rent vehicles and throw our money away. Thank you for considering and God bless.
