February 2026 , I will be travelling back to Kenya to support the work of Rebirth of a Queen, a survivor-led organisation based in Kajiado County that works with women, girls, babies and young people who have survived serious abuse, violence and exploitation.
This trip is about service, solidarity and support, not charity tourism.
Rebirth of a Queen works directly with survivors of:
• sexual and gender-based violence
• human trafficking
• exploitation
• domestic abuse
• neglect and abandonment
The organisation provides:
• safe shelter for women and girls escaping violence
• care for babies and vulnerable children
• trauma-informed emotional support
• education and mentoring
• vocational and life-skills training
• long-term empowerment programmes
Their focus is not just survival, it is restoration, dignity and independence.
Right now, Rebirth of a Queen is fundraising to develop a skills training centre for girls and young women.
The centre will help provide:
• practical life skills
• income-earning abilities
• independence from exploitation
• confidence and self-worth
• purpose after trauma
Alongside the skills-centre project, donations also help support:
• babies in care
• young girls in the rescue system
• survivors rebuilding their lives
• basic needs and daily care
• safety and protection
Many of the girls and women supported have nowhere else to go.
This is a self-funded mission.
Donations will help with:
• flights
• transport of donations
• luggage and logistics
• essential supplies
• contribution to the skills centre
• direct support for survivors and children
Without travel, there is no delivery.
Without delivery, there is no impact
This journey will be documented with care and respect.
Supporters will see:
• donation deliveries
• progress updates
• where funds go
• how support is used
This is about honesty, accountability, and impact.
This is not a holiday.
This is not a trend.
This is real work with real lives.
If you can donate, thank you.
If you can share, thank you.
If you can support quietly, thank you.
Every act of kindness matters.
