<div>February 2026 , I will be travelling back to Kenya to support the work of Rebirth of a Queen, a survivor-led organisation based in Kajiado County that works with women, girls, babies and young people who have survived serious abuse, violence and exploitation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This trip is about service, solidarity and support, not charity tourism.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Rebirth of a Queen works directly with survivors of:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• sexual and gender-based violence
</div>
<div>• human trafficking
</div>
<div>• exploitation
</div>
<div>• domestic abuse
</div>
<div>• neglect and abandonment
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The organisation provides:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• safe shelter for women and girls escaping violence
</div>
<div>• care for babies and vulnerable children
</div>
<div>• trauma-informed emotional support
</div>
<div>• education and mentoring
</div>
<div>• vocational and life-skills training
</div>
<div>• long-term empowerment programmes
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Their focus is not just survival, it is restoration, dignity and independence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Right now, Rebirth of a Queen is fundraising to develop a skills training centre for girls and young women.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The centre will help provide:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• practical life skills
</div>
<div>• income-earning abilities
</div>
<div>• independence from exploitation
</div>
<div>• confidence and self-worth
</div>
<div>• purpose after trauma
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Alongside the skills-centre project, donations also help support:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• babies in care
</div>
<div>• young girls in the rescue system
</div>
<div>• survivors rebuilding their lives
</div>
<div>• basic needs and daily care
</div>
<div>• safety and protection
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Many of the girls and women supported have nowhere else to go.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is a self-funded mission.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donations will help with:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• flights
</div>
<div>• transport of donations
</div>
<div>• luggage and logistics
</div>
<div>• essential supplies
</div>
<div>• contribution to the skills centre
</div>
<div>• direct support for survivors and children
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Without travel, there is no delivery.
</div>
<div>Without delivery, there is no impact
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This journey will be documented with care and respect.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Supporters will see:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>• donation deliveries
</div>
<div>• progress updates
</div>
<div>• where funds go
</div>
<div>• how support is used
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is about honesty, accountability, and impact.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is not a holiday.
</div>
<div>This is not a trend.
</div>
<div>This is real work with real lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you can donate, thank you.
</div>
<div>If you can share, thank you.
</div>
<div>If you can support quietly, thank you.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every act of kindness matters.
</div>
