I’m organizing this fundraiser for my best friend, River Rose. In June 2025 her world was turned upside down when she discovered her husband had been harming one of her children and was involved in other illegal activity. He's now in jail facing multiple felony charges, and River Rose has been fiercely rebuilding life from the ground up for herself and her kids.

River Rose is an amazing mother and works hard to make ends meet. But these last several months have been so challenging. She has had to handle police reports, court hearings, divorce proceedings, the emotional fallout, and the overwhelming work of rebuilding daily life after suddenly losing her partner and the family’s primary source of income, all while dealing with chronic illness, relocating, helping her child heal and trying to create stability again without a financial safety net. She’s shown so much strength through things no one should ever have to face.

Despite everything, River Rose has been doing all that she can to regain her footing. She found a part-time job, is applying for a second one, and does delivery work to help fill the gaps. But recently she learned that her car… a 20-year-old vehicle she relies on for work, therapy, doctor appointments, and daily life… has been deemed unsafe to drive. The repairs cost more than the car is worth, and replacing it on her own just isn’t possible right now. The hope is to help River Rose get a safe, reliable used car without adding a monthly payment to an already tight budget, something she can depend on for the next few years.

This fundraiser is to help River Rose get that safe, reliable car, help cover essential bills, and to give her a little extra support to get through Christmas and her child’s upcoming birthday.

I wouldn’t be asking if this wasn’t truly needed. I’ve seen how hard she’s been fighting to keep everything together, and she deserves some real support right now.
