Hi folks, so this is something I’ve took upon myself to do as it means everything to me.

On March 28th 2026 I will be taking on 60+ miles of the glencoe mountains, starting in kinlochleven and ending in fort William, 18 peaks (inc Ben Nevis), 17000+ft elevation, in one day. This is for raising money for cancer research. Why cancer research? Because my Granda (Brian) Thom was the man that showed me stubbornness and how to be a gentlemen two qualities that I will always cherish and remember about my Granda. Sadly I lost my Granda to cancer on the 18th of may 2017, after seeing my Dad turn that loss and frustration into bettering himself through ultra running, I got inspired and decided to give it a go, hence the name “remember why you started” we wouldn’t be doing this without turning something bad into something good and pushing ourselves to the limit using that stubbornness that Granda gave us…

I not one for asking for money but if you or anyone you know has been affected by cancer, this donations is the best way we can try and support prolonging lives of loved ones.
