Helping Close The Gender Gap In Technology
Tax deductible
At Collabera, our Women's Leadership Advisory Board (WLAB) is truly passionate in helping end the gender gap in the workforce and empower the females in the communities around us. To this day, women in the workforce, specifically in STEM related roles, are underrepresented. Whether it's due to financial reasoning's, lack of educational resources, or discouragement from their own peers, it's our mission to help women become leaders in STEM related fields. In honor of Women's Equality Day, our WLAB chose to help raise donations for Girls Who Code.
Girls Who Code is a non-profit organization who's mission is to close the gender gap in technology and to change the image of what a programmer looks like and does. - Come from underrepresented minority groups, including African American/Black, Hispanic or Latina, Bi/ Multiracial, Native American/Alaskan, and Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander;
- Come from low-income backgrounds, specifically free and/or reduced lunch eligible
