This Improves wellbeing, reduces loneliness and helps combat social isolation.
The Ferring Men in Sheds was formed in November 2024 and started using the workshop at the Ferring Country Centre.
Since that time we have now moved to our own workshop in the old Pump House at Glebelands Recreation Ground, Ferring and, thanks to generous donation, built a storage shed for our materials.
We meet twice a week, have over 20 active members and a waiting list of people wishing to join.
Unfortunately the Pump House is not big enough to allow new people to join so we are hoping to build a new workshop next door to our existing one. Your donations to this fund raising effort will help us to get planning permission and start to construct our new ‘shed’
