My name is Sam I am 13 from Central Academy in Carlisle.

I am trying to fundraise by doing several activities and events to raise money to travel with Camps International to Kenya for 4 weeks of personal development and charitable project work.

The upcoming events I have chosen to do are, giving up chocolate, sweets and biscuits for lent. I am also going to, with my family walk the full length of Hadrian's wall in the summer holidays, We are going to camp each night and do it all in one go!

I have also done a guess the teddies name and cake bakes to start off the fundraising.

The money raised will go towards helping me travel to Kenya and assist in a variety of project work. This includes community development work, wildlife conservation, environmental conservation, and a personal challenge of scuba diving.

The core objectives of this expedition are to undertake projects in order to:

- Raise the educational standards of developing communities within a rural district of Kenya.

- Raise the living standards of developing communities, within a rural district of Kenya.

- Assist with ongoing wildlife conservation programs to preserve biodiversity and protect vulnerable habitats

I am really excited about the events planned and all the money I’m going to raise for my expedition to Kenya. Please also watch this space for more upcoming events to kelp me raise the funds.
