Hi, my name is Áine Williamson, and my sister Seána and I are running the Breast Cancer Ireland Very Pink Run this September.

Breast cancer touches so many lives here in Ireland. Over 3,500 women are diagnosed each year, which is about 1 in every 9 women during their lifetime. Sadly, breast cancer has affected our own family, and I know many friends and loved ones whose families have also been impacted.

This will be my first time taking on something like this, but I wanted to challenge myself and give back in a meaningful way. Every euro raised will be donated directly to Breast Cancer Ireland, helping to fund research, awareness campaigns, and education that can help save lives.

If you can donate, no matter how small the amount, it would mean the world to me and countless families across Ireland who are fighting this horrible disease.
