En Marzo 2022, me diagnosticaron lo que es Stage 4 Cancer, encontraron Cancer en los rinones y pulmones.

Ese dia me levante y asi dije, que iba a luchar sin descanso y vivir la vida en plenitud.

Comenze las terapias de quimio y medicamentos. Todo iba en rumbo positivo mientras lograba encontrar ayudas economicas que me sustentaran a costear lo que mi plan medico no cubrian. Hasta que se acabaron y no he podido comenzar un tratamiento distinto y ver si es efectivo como el reciente.

Eso es una pesadilla, pensar si funcionara, mas el costo adicional (Co-Pago) ya que estos tratamiento cuestan miles de dollares. Por eso requiero de su colaboracion y buen corazon para poder ayudarme a continuar el tratamiento y seguir luchando por mi vida

Hello, my name is Rafael Colmenero-Baez. I've lived almost my entire life normally.

I've been a first responder in Puerto Rico and have come to know the value of saving lives very well.

In March 2022, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. They found cancer in my kidneys and lungs.

That day I woke up and said, "I was going to fight tirelessly and live life to the fullest."

I began chemotherapy and medication. Everything was going well while I managed to find financial assistance to cover what my health plan didn't cover. Until they ran out, and I haven't been able to start a different treatment and see if it's as effective as the recent one.

That's a nightmare, thinking if it would work, especially considering the additional cost (co-payment), since these treatments cost thousands of dollars. That's why I need your cooperation and kindness to help me with my treatment and continue fighting for my life.
