The Soccer, Skills and Fundamentals (SSF) U9 team has earned something special—we’re heading to the National Futsal Tournament in Richmond, Virginia (July 3–6, 2026)!

We qualified as one of the top two teams at the North Regional Futsal Tournament in Minneapolis this January, competing against strong teams from across the Midwest. For a first-ever regional appearance, this was no small feat.

Now it’s time for me to help get these boys there.

More Than a Team

SSF isn’t just about futsal.

Along with coaches Benito and Troy, I’ve tried to build something simple but rare—focused on development, generosity, and community. The goal is to help kids fall in love with the game, build real skills, and grow as teammates and as people.

We try to do things the right way, quietly and without much noise—putting kids first, making the game accessible, and creating an environment where effort, respect, and joy matter. Whether it’s extra time in the gym, flexibility for families, or making sure no child is left out, this is what SSF is about.

These Kids Deserve This Shot

This group of boys is special.

They are tough, resilient, coachable, and full of heart. They’ve trained hard, played through adversity, supported one another, and represented everything you’d want in a team.

They’ve earned their place at Nationals.

Now they deserve the chance to go—and just maybe, make some real noise when they get there. Don’t be surprised if they end up competing with the very best… and winning.

I am 110% here to support these kids and help develop them into the best version of themselves—on and off the court. The goal is simple: keep improving, keep enjoying futsal, and keep growing into decent, caring human beings.

Why I’m Raising Funds
